I'm a recent graduate from VCU and am waiting patiently to begin working at Clifton Gunderson. I love shopping, cooking, and above all the food network. I dream of the old days of athleticism and at times fool myself into thinking I can still run 4 miles without passing out. yesterday I had maybe the best sweet potatoes I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’ve never like sweet potatoes, ever since I was a child I would cringe at the the orange disk like slices smothered in maple syrup and marshmellows. But this year was different, I have practically insisted the past couple of years that I help prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. I spend hours at work on foodnetwork.com looking for delicious recipes and this year I found one that sounded enticing, “Whipped sweet potatoes and banana with honey.” OMG need I say more?? It was positively delicious! I would highly recomend this to anyone who has, like me, grown to fear this little potatoe. (And its even better the next day!)
